Just three years ago, we began with a simple but powerful mission: Food Connection collects surplus food from restaurants and caterers in Asheville and delivers the food to those who will enjoy it in order to reduce food waste and ease the pain of immediate hunger. Now – over 65,000 delivered meals later – we’re growing our reach, increasing the food we rescue, striving to feed even more of our Asheville community in need, and asking you to be a part of it all.

Ever wondered what the lifecycle of a Food Connection looks like?  From gourmet meals created in the kitchen to the drop off at one of our partner recipients, come see what goes into making a Food Connection. Guests will enjoy a night of fun, fellowship, food, music and fundraising, including live action from six of our Food Connection donor chefs and an opportunity to package excess food from the event to deliver to our friends at BeLoved House.
